What will I be doing?
The Inside Dealer Sales Representative is a role which will interact with our growing dealer base and be their first point of contact. The DSR will also be responsible for the retention and expansion of existing accounts by leveraging our diverse product offering and unique distribution position in the open trailer market.
- Servicing accounts, providing technical assistance, attending trade shows, monitoring customer activity and inventory movement, evaluating our position relative to the overall business, and establishing a professional rapport with all customers.
- Define and achieve sales goals
- Work directly with key accounts to ensure proper service levels are maintained
- Demonstrate knowledge of our products, their use, and how they relate to meet our customers’ needs
- Understanding of market and industry trends, sales techniques, application of products in various markets.
- Recommending changes in products and service by evaluating results and competitive developments
- Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and delivery schedules, etc.
What Qualifications and Experience is required for success in this role?
- Proven success in growing and servicing key customers
- Solid sales experience in B2B environment
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
- Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
- BA-BS Business Administration or relevant field
