Who is Accuor Essential recommended for? Why?

It is recommended from the age of 3 years and in situations of growth, pregnancy or convalescence, as part of a balanced diet.

ESSENTIAL has an alkaline pH and is enriched in calcium so that, as part of a balanced diet, it provides health benefits and bone reinforcement, since the calcium present in the drinking water is absorbed more efficiently than that of milk.

For whom is Accuor Aox-diet recommended?

It is recommended for adults from 18 years of age, especially for smokers, people who work outdoors, sunbathe a lot or are on a slimming diet, as part of a balanced diet.

AOX-DIET is digestive and slightly diuretic, favoring the elimination of toxins and free radicals, as well as the regularization of nervous and muscular functions. It helps to maintain intestinal function and fat balance.

Who is Accuor Hashiru recommended for? Why?

It is recommended from the age of 16, in the practice of intense sports, within the framework of a balanced diet.

HASHIRU's mineral formulation is designed to improve recovery after physical exertion. Its alkaline pH (8-8.5) prevents fluctuations in blood pH which, after exercise, tends to acidify.

Who is Accuor Nara recommended for? Why?

It is recommended for adults over 60 years of age, and in situations of hypertension, within the framework of a balanced diet.

NARA helps the elderly to maintain a correct level of hydration, because its texture is more palatable to them than other types of water. This also encourages them to drink more water, which is very beneficial because they tend to "forget" to drink and tend to get dehydrated easily.

It is enriched in calcium, and its low sodium content makes it ideal for low sodium diets.

Its neutral to slightly alkaline pH (between 7.2 and 7.5) is the most suitable for the human organism since the blood pH is maintained between 7.35 and 7.45 and the homeostatic balance is more fragile in the elderly.

Who is Accuor Okinawa recommended for? Why?

It is recommended for adults over 16 years of age and in situations of circulation problems, liver, cholesterol, convalescence or menopause, within the framework of a balanced diet.

OKINAWA is considered a gourmet water, as it is specially designed for the table and to accompany food intake. Due to its exceptional palatability, it improves internal hydration and quenches thirst.

ACCUOR and health

What are the health benefits of Accuor waters?

Each variety of ACCUOR water has a specific composition that gives it its character and health benefits, always within the framework of a balanced diet.

In general, the combination of alkaline pH, ionized minerals and salts provides health benefits within the framework of a balanced diet:

The smaller size of the cluster of h2o molecules favors hydration at the cellular level, due to the greater ease of penetration of water into the body cells.

The natural mineral ions calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium are 100% absorbed by the body.

The calcium in water has a bioavailability similar to that of milk and is more effective in slowing bone resorption (loss of bone minerals) if taken throughout the day.

The alkaline pH favors the compensation system in our body that avoids fluctuations in blood pH, so that it does not need to sequester bone calcium to maintain that balance.

How much water should I drink per day?

Experts recommend a minimum daily fluid intake that varies from person to person. In general, it is estimated that men need between 2 and 2.5 L per day and women between 1.5 and 2 L per day. However, these amounts may vary depending on physical activity and health status.

Do I need to consult my physician?

If you wish, you can ask for your physician's opinion.

Both your physician and pharmacist are best qualified to help you understand the benefits of water and minerals for the body.

Keep in mind that the ACCUOR water varieties will help you feel better, but they are not a curative product, therefore, you should continue with the treatments prescribed by your doctor.

Are you registered with the Health Department?

The current regulations only regulate bottled drinking water.

Although there is no specific regulation governing this innovative system, all equipment complies with UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015, UNE-EN ISO 13485:2016 and UNE 166002:2014.

Other ACCUOR utilities

Why is ACCUOR better than tap water?

Tap water is drinkable, but its taste is often unpleasant because its origin is generally from surface layers and it has a changing composition.

For this reason, it must be treated both chemically and microbiologically for disinfection, so that it is safe for the population, once it has traveled through the entire network of pipes and pipelines until it reaches the point of consumption.

This is the only way to guarantee its food safety. But these disinfection processes to which it is subjected to make it drinkable influence the composition of tap water and alter its properties.

What about coffee and infusions?

The difference with all varieties of ACCUOR water is noticeable, but we recommend OKINAWA because it especially enhances the aroma of coffee and extracts all the natural aromas of the infusions.

Can I brush my teeth with this water?

Of course it does. It facilitates the action of toothpastes that prevent tartar, since its slightly alkaline pH helps to prevent its formation.

Can I spray this water on my face?

Yes, especially with the ESSENTIAL, OKINAWA and AOX-DIET varieties.

In addition to better hydration, you will notice a feeling of smooth and soft skin, as with the most prestigious cosmetic brand.

Which water is better for washing vegetables and fruits, the normal tap water or this one?

Fruits and vegetables very easily absorb dissolved elements in water, especially chlorine. The mineral content of ACCUOR, especially AOX-DIET or AOX+, is much more suitable in the washing operation of fruits and vegetables, and also contributes to enhance their natural flavor.

One of Accuor's new generation models produces a specific water with high cleaning and disinfection power for foodstuffs. This is the Volvy model, which generates ozonated water.

Can I prepare baby bottles with this water?

The HIKARI variety facilitates the dissolution of milk powder as well as baby food and is specially designed to meet the mineral requirements of the youngest children. This variety complies with pediatricians' recommendations, with a sodium content of less than 25 mg/L and a calcium content of 50 mg/L.

Comparisons with other waters

Why is ACCUOR better than tap water?

Tap water is drinkable, but its taste is often unpleasant because its origin is generally from surface layers and it has a changing composition.

For this reason, it must be treated both chemically and microbiologically for disinfection, so that it is safe for the population, once it has traveled through the entire network of pipes and pipelines until it reaches the point of consumption.

This is the only way to guarantee its food safety. But these disinfection processes to which it is subjected to make it drinkable influence the composition of tap water and alter its properties.

ACCUOR's high-efficiency technological equipment deals with the final treatment at the point of use and the transfer of minerals for human consumption. The main characteristic of the technology included in these new generation ACCUOR equipment, manufactured from 2021 onwards, is that it is selective in its cleaning and recharging processes.

In the cleaning phase, it inhibits, neutralizes and retains undesirable compounds (microplastics, cosmetics, benzenes, chemical contaminants, traces of betex compounds, Lindane, bacteria, viruses, protozoa and 32 other elements) that may be dissolved in the mains water, as well as elements that alter the organoleptic properties of texture and taste. It stores them, without returning them to the sewage system in order to avoid a new load to the environment, being processed this internal container at the time of the Refresh maintenance of the equipment.

In the recharge phase, it rebalances the healthy minerals and boosts them according to the selected water profile, providing the oxygenation and alkalinity that a vital water must have.

The quality control team at ACCUOR verifies each production run with the appropriate sampling, just like a water bottle bottling plant.

Why is ACCUOR better than filter jugs?

Filter jugs treat water to varying degrees. In general, tap water tastes better because chlorine is removed. In the absence of more information or further studies on the effect of filters, it should be considered that their use will produce an unpredictable decrease in calcium concentration.

What filtering systems do is subtract, i.e. they try to remove substances from the water. Obviously the interesting thing is that they remove the 'bad' ones and respect the 'good' ones, but a filter is not able to distinguish that from a pitcher, while ACCUOR devices can.

How is Accuor different from osmosis?

The reverse osmosis method removes minerals. Therefore, the composition of the osmosed water will also depend on the composition of the source water. A reverse osmosis filter removes dissolved salts with an efficiency of 95-98%. Thus, osmosed water is practically pure water, but it does not provide us with the mineral salts that can be assimilated by the body, which are responsible for better hydration.

ACCUOR varieties, in addition to calcium, provide magnesium, sodium and potassium ions which, in different measures, are very necessary for various functions of the organism; this is not provided by osmosed water.

In addition, osmosed water tends to have an acid pH, while our body is better served by water with a neutral or slightly alkaline pH, which, in addition to being more digestive, allows toxins and fats to be eliminated more quickly and naturally from the body's bloodstream. This necessary supply is what is achieved with ACCUOR's mineralization process unit.

A high-mountain climber would never forget to carry mineral salts to add to the water-snow-ice from the summits that he/she uses to drink, as it is essential to avoid dehydration.

In short, the excessively soft water (without minerals) that can be provided by a reverse osmosis system..:

  • promotes the demineralization of the
  • with respect to the taste, it gives the sensation of heaviness and being and little
  • is too little

Why is Accuor better than bottled water?

The waters of the different brands of mineral water each have their own characteristics and no two mineral waters are alike. The content of each one of them makes them more or less suitable for different people.

The variability of compositions of the same brand of bottled water must also be taken into account. The variations in composition are due to the fact that they come from different springs, since each spring has different properties.

Mineral waters are always of subway origin, healthy and pure in origin. However, the containers used can release particles that alter their properties. In addition, exposure to light and high temperatures, or improper storage can alter their properties.

What type of packaging is best to take Accuor away from home?

We recommend using containers that do not release harmful particles, such as "thermos" type containers for food use, which are also specific for liquids. Plastic containers are less recommended.

Is there a risk in storing water for many weeks in glass containers?

No bottling plant in the world manufactures the glass bottles in the same plant where the water is bottled, so there is a risk of contamination during transport. They often travel hundreds of kilometers (and this transport contributes to CO2 emissions into the atmosphere). Upon arrival at the plant, they must be washed, disinfected and rinsed thoroughly before refilling. Under exposure to sunlight, a bottle can alter the biochemical state of the water.

Why should water not be stored in plastic containers?

The plastic used (PET) is porous, so it is conditioned to the environment where it is stored, its temperature, proximity to other non-drinking or even dangerous liquids and all this can pass from the bottle to the water. A plastic bottle in an establishment with high stock turnover has the water inside the bottle for at least a couple of months. The amount of Bisphenol A that these bottles transfer and that can migrate in that time should not be relativized, the risk exists.

We must not forget the damage that plastic bottles can do to the environment if they are not recycled. Bottled water is very expensive and generates a strong ecological impact; according to Greenpeace a liter of bottled water can cost up to 400 times more than a liter of tap water produces CO2 emissions in transport from the plant to the point of sale and then to the home, and contributes to increase the problem of plastic waste; according to ECOEMBES, about 40% of plastic containers are not currently recycled in Spain, so they end up in landfills or, even worse, thrown into rivers, seas and forests.

What are the consequences of the massive use of spring water?

Sometimes there is not always a spring where the water is bottled, but rather wells.

To meet the growing demand for bottled water, these sources are sometimes abused. The consequences can be:

  1. When water is extracted for years by mechanical means, the aquifer is emptied because more water is withdrawn than enters.
  2. The quality of the spring water is affected, because when water is extracted from an aquifer by mechanical means, the aquifer is emptied and water has to be taken from a lower and lower level, which causes it to contain more sodium and the levels of other mineral salts to decrease.

Practical issues

Where is Accuor equipment installed?

Normally the equipment is placed in the kitchen, under the sink, so that it does not take up space on the countertop. However, it can be installed in another place that is protected from the sun and heat sources.

The new generation KORE, ONE, YOKO and VOLVY models can even be conveniently installed under the kitchen plinth due to their small dimensions (6 cm high).

Does a second faucet need to be installed?

ACCUOR units are prepared to be coupled to a 5-way faucet, which replaces the kitchen faucet in a single control.

If the customer prefers, a water selector can be installed, which allows the user to choose any type of faucet and thus select the type of water desired at any time.

Is this water for the whole house?

No, it is only for consumption, for oral uses, and therefore the best place is usually in the kitchen space.

My water comes from a well, can I use this system?

In places where the water comes from a well, as long as the water reaching the tap is potable and authorized by the Public Health services, this system can be used without any inconvenience.

In some cases, to ensure a sufficient quality of the inlet water, it is necessary to pre-treat it by means of an ultraviolet light process. Consult our technical team for your particular case.

In the area where I live the water has a lot of nitrate problems, can I use this system?

We have many customers in areas with the same problem and the results are highly satisfactory. The nitrates are neutralized in the internal process of the ACCUOR equipment, without the need for any previous treatment of the mains water that reaches the homes.

Do I need a water softener at home to use this system?

The quality of the inlet water is an important element, but in general it is not necessary to install a water softener to obtain ACCUOR water.

I have two floors together, can I put one equipment for both floors?

In principle it is possible. The final technical solution will depend on the consumption between the two floors, the distance to be covered by the treated water and the existing communication between the two floors. To answer the question it is necessary to see the site in situ.

Ask our technical team which is the best solution for you.

I have an American type refrigerator, can I make the water reach the refrigerator?

Yes, it is possible to deliver ACCUOR-treated water to the refrigerator to exit through the chilled water dispenser.

An additional advantage in these cases is that the ice production in these coolers is also made with this water, which greatly improves the quality of the ice cubes.

Can I refill plastic bottles?

It is not recommended. However, if necessary, you can reuse a bottle a maximum of 4 times from the first use. We recommend the use of glass containers, for home use, or ACCUOR bottles, or those available on the market in 304 stainless steel.

Is the equipment connected to the drain?

No. ACCUOR develops new technologies thanks to its constant investment in R&D, as a result of which it has already developed new generation equipment that avoids disposal down the drain.

How much water does the equipment reject to produce the different ACCUOR waters?

It does not reject any quantity of water. ACCUOR develops new technologies thanks to its constant investment in R&D, and as a result has already developed new generation equipment that does not reject any amount of water.

The system retains unwanted substances, designed with a service capacity of one year without alterations, and at that time your equipment is replaced by a completely renewed one thanks to our exclusive maintenance service.

What is the service life of ACCUOR equipment?

They are designed and manufactured according to European appliance construction standards, with a service life of more than 10 years. However, your new generation equipment, thanks to our exclusive Refresh maintenance service, will be periodically replaced by a completely renewed equipment.

In short, you can consider that it will be a one-time purchase for life.

Will I run out of water halfway through filling a pot?

The new generation ACCUOR equipment has a constant in-line production.

These new versions will not leave you half-filling your water pot.

If I use more than one type of water and one runs out, can I use the other?

In the new generation equipment, such as the KORE and ONE models, even if you only use one of the three varieties of water included, the water will retain its properties intact between maintenance periods with the Refresh service.

Can I change water types whenever I want?

Yes, thanks to our Refresh service, we can customize the waters of your equipment on demand. The most common example is the arrival of an additional member of the family, such as a baby, an elderly person or a change of personal status, such as the start of a diet.

When something is for life, it is priceless.

Economic issues

Can I finance my purchase?

Yes, please contact us directly at our information telephone numbers.

How much do I save on bottled water?

To answer this question you should consider the following:

  • The consumption of drinking water in your household, including the water used for cooking.
  • the price at which you pay for bottled water
  • the ACCUOR solution you have chosen

Calculate your current monthly or annual cost and compare it.

Do I have to pay for equipment maintenance?

The equipment has to recharge the minerals that the bi-active module transfers to the water, this is a consumable and as such is subject to a termination.

ACCUOR equipment has a universal warranty system that includes the Refresh service by means of which, for an annual or periodic cost, you have a renewed equipment in case of any breakdown or even at each mineral refill.

How long will it take to amortize the purchase?

To answer this question you should consider the following:

  • The consumption of drinking water in your household, including the water used for cooking.
  • the price at which you pay for bottled water
  • the ACCUOR solution you have chosen
  • maintenance cost

Calculate your current monthly or annual cost and compare it.

What would be the price per liter of water?

To answer this question you should calculate:

  • your household's consumption of drinking water (including that used for cooking),
  • the ACCUOR solution you have chosen and the corresponding annual service cost.

It is concluded that the cost of producing 1.5 L of ACCUOR is about 12.5 times less (0.45/0.03598) than the cost of buying quality bottled water in the supermarket.

Do all waters cost the same?

Yes, you decide the water combination that best suits you or your family's needs.

Will the amount of the water bill increase?

Accuor devices do not reject water, therefore, their consumption will be the same.

Will the amount of the electricity bill increase?

No. There are new generation models that are not connected to the electrical grid and produce their own electricity through the circulation of the water inside, such as the KORE model. The ONE model does not require any electricity at all.

How Accuor water is tested

What works and what doesn't work with ACCUOR's new technology

What is useless?

How does a TDS reader work?

The TDS reader works by conductivity and measures the conductivity of the water. It is measured in PPM (Parts Per Million).

Pure H2O or distilled water does not conduct electricity, so if a TDS reader is immersed in fully distilled water the result will be "0" or a very low number if there are trace minerals in the water. It is the charge of electrons that make up the minerals that conduct electricity. In short, water with more minerals conducts more electricity than water without minerals.

Can I know what minerals are dissolved in the water with a TDS reader?

No. It is not possible to distinguish the different minerals in the water. The TDS meter calculates a general conductivity measurement that depends on the overall amount of dissolved minerals in the water. Therefore, we cannot know what levels of calcium, magnesium or potassium, for example, are in the water.

Do not manipulate the interior, at the risk of losing the warranty.

Does the TDS reader tell me the water quality?

No. To know the quality of the water it is necessary to do a complete water analysis.

Case study:

If a TDS reader is immersed in a glass of weakly mineralized bottled water, the reading will be very low, around 50ppm.

Soaking in a more mineralized bottled water will reach a number around 500ppm.

If immersed in highly mineralized water, it will reach a number above 1500ppm.

In all three cases they are bottled water fit for consumption, but have different levels of minerals and conductivity. We cannot conclude that water with less minerals is better than water with more minerals, as the TDS reading does not provide a conclusion about its quality.

Widespread bad practices with TDS readers

In Spain there is a bad practice of the TDS reader to generate doubts in the consumer's mind.

Some sellers of reverse osmosis systems incorrectly use this meter to convince customers of the quality of their water when in fact the opposite is true. Reverse osmosis systems produce nearly demineralized water.

What is it good for?

Samples for colorimetric analysis

Samples for colorimetric analysis

Thanks to modern chemistry, we can detect thousands of chemicals in water, even at extremely low concentrations. The growing list of types of analysis available can seem overwhelming, and for the vast majority of methods, state-of-the-art laboratories are needed. Fortunately, we don't need to analyze everything! A much smaller, more practical set of tests can provide good insights into the chemical quality of water for monitoring purposes. The good news is that there are low-tech analyses that can be performed when budgets are limited.

Types of tests:

Typical methods for portable, low-tech field tests used to monitor chemical water quality fall into three categories:

Reactive tapes:

These are small, one-time use strips that change color to indicate the concentration of a specific chemical. Depending on the test, the user "activates" the paper or plastic strip by dipping it into the water sample and stirring it, or by holding the strip in a stream of water. After a short wait, the user compares the color of the test strip to a color chart to find out the concentration level of the chemical. These kits are very simple, but less accurate than other methods, especially if users do not follow the instructions.

Colored disc kits:

These kits are available for a wide range of chemical tests. In a typical case, the user adds a powder packet or a few drops of a liquid reagent to a water sample in a reusable plastic tube. He then places the sample tube in a small plastic box for color comparison. This box contains a plastic disk with a color gradient printed on it. The user rotates the disk to find the part that best matches the color of the sample and identifies the concentration level of the chemical on the disk.

Portable digital instruments:

Water is tested with lightweight, portable digital meters, colorimeters and photometers. These, while providing the most accurate results among the three methods mentioned, are the most expensive and delicate, and require batteries and calibration. While digital instruments are useful for field technicians and form an essential part of any permanent or remote monitoring network.

How does Accuor's technology work to be selective in cleaning the water?

Accuor uses the Millipore Millex™ sterile syringe filter system in a chained format in its first phase, which allows the inhibition, neutralization or capture of the elements defined as dispensable in public water, maintaining the mineralization load that is available and that is enhanced or regulated according to the formulation established in each available water.

Is each mineral separately measurable and identifiable?

Yes, but not with a TDS, but with professional laboratory analysis instruments.

Can tap water and Accuor water have the same PPM?

Yes, because it is like measuring with a thermometer one water or another, it will have the same temperature, but it is not useful to measure minerals or nutrients. It is like measuring the hardness of the water considering a water softener with salt; you will have X French degrees and you will not have lime, but if you use an advanced lime neutralizer by magnetic field, you will have the same French degrees in and out and you will not have lime either.

Is the measurement using this method incorrect?

Yes, since they do not show evidence of the result.
